The sulfur content of petroleum coke and asphalt coke should not exceed 0.5%. Needle coke is also needed to produce high power or ultra high power graphite electrodes. In addition, it has the prominent features of compact structure, good electrical and thermal conductivity, strong oxidation resistance, corrosion resistance, low resistivity, high current load resistance, low price and high cost effective. It is widely used in the smelting of various metals.
